Purple. is not a therapy centre and not a session-only online service. It is a structured support system designed to stay with the child beyond scheduled therapy time.
We combine online speech therapy, psychological guidance, and parent involvement into one connected model, so progress continues in daily life, not just during sessions.
Because communication grows where children live, interact, and feel safe.

Children often communicate best where they feel safest at home.
Research, including guidance from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), supports the effectiveness of structured online speech therapy when delivered with professional planning, parent involvement, and consistent follow-through.
Reduced anxiety and greater comfort
Stronger parent participation
Better real-life carryover into daily routines
Fewer missed sessions and greater consistency
How therapy happens | Fully online care plan with weekly therapy, guided home practice, and regular follow-ups | In-person visits at fixed times | Scheduled video sessions |
What happens outside sessions | Parents receive clear guidance so support continues in daily routines at home | Parents manage on their own | Usually no structured follow-up |
Parent involvement | Parents are oriented, guided, and supported throughout the journey | Limited participation | Mostly observation |
Professional support | Speech therapist + dedicated clinical psychologist (TSM) overseeing progress and parent support | Speech therapist only | Speech therapist only |
Continuity of care | Ongoing monitoring, check-ins, and adjustments between sessions | Progress depends on visit frequency | Support ends when session ends |
Understanding the child’s environment | Therapy planning considers the child’s real environment, routines, and interactions | Clinic-based observation | Screen-based interaction |
Support network | Connected support between child, parent, therapist, and when needed, school | Therapy-centre focused | Session-focused |
To recognize silent communication challenges, acknowledging the unseen efforts and quiet courage of children navigating internal speech and language difficulties.
The Clinical Psychologist (TSM) provides emotional and behavioural guidance for your child while also helping parents understand how to support communication and development at home.
Structured orientation and ongoing counselling help parents understand communication challenges and support progress confidently at home.
Regular reviews, follow-ups, and coordination ensure therapy remains meaningful, consistent, and connected to real-life development.
Honest reflections shared by parents about their experience and journey with Purple.
If you feel your child is finding it hard to express themselves, follow instructions, or communicate clearly compared to what feels typical for their age, it’s okay to pause and explore support. Sometimes it’s not about a “problem”, it’s about giving the right guidance at the right time.
Each family is supported by a dedicated Therapy Success Manager who stays connected, answers questions, and helps guide the therapy journey alongside the speech therapist.
There isn’t one perfect age. Speech therapy can begin as soon as concerns are noticed. Starting early often helps, but starting later is never “too late.”
Sessions are designed to suit a child’s attention span and comfort. Therapists use interactive activities and gentle engagement, while parents are present to support and observe. Being in a familiar home environment often helps children feel more relaxed and responsive.
