1. Overview & Nature of Services

1.1 Service Scope: PURPLETHERAPY ONLINE PRIVATE LIMITED provides 1-on-1 online speech therapy, early intervention, adult speech support, behavioural therapy, and psychological counselling via tele-consultation platforms.

1.2 Therapy Success Manager & Clinical Team: Services are delivered by certified speech-language pathologists, clinical psychologists, and designated Therapy Success Managers.

1.3 Non-Emergency Notice: OUR SERVICES DO NOT PROVIDE EMERGENCY MEDICAL OR PSYCHO-BEHAVIORAL CRISIS INTERVENTION. If you or your child are experiencing an immediate medical emergency, mental health crisis, or self-harm emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately (e.g., call 999 in UAE, 112 in the EU, or 112/108 in India).

2. Eligibility & Minors

2.1 Adults: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and purchase Services.

2.2 Minors (Under 18): Services provided to infants, children, or adolescents require the explicit consent and ongoing participation of a parent or legal guardian. The parent/guardian assumes full legal and financial responsibility for all therapy sessions and online account activities.

3. International Scope & Regional Compliance

3.1 Operating Entity: PURPLETHERAPY ONLINE PRIVATE LIMITED is registered in India. Our Services are marketed and accessible globally, including in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the wider Middle East (GCC), and European Union (EU) countries.

3.2 Local Telehealth Regulations: By using our tele-therapy platform outside India, you acknowledge that cross-border telehealth regulation varies by jurisdiction. You are responsible for ensuring that remote consultation complies with local regulations governing tele-health or online therapy in your home country.

4. Consultations & Parent Responsibility

4.1 Session Environment: Sessions are conducted online via video conferencing. For child clients, a parent or designated adult guardian must be present during sessions to ensure a suitable home environment, manage tech setups, and reinforce home-practice strategies.

4.2 No Guarantee of Specific Results: Therapy outcomes depend heavily on clinical factors, consistency, and home practice. While our therapists are credentialed professionals, we make no explicit guarantees regarding clinical timelines or outcomes.

5. Appointments, Rescheduling & Cancellation

5.1 Scheduling: Sessions are scheduled in advance via your Therapy Success Manager or our online portal.

5.2 Cancellation & Rescheduling: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session time.

5.3 Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, are subject to forfeiture or standard session fees.

6. Fees, Currency & Payments

6.1 Pricing: Fees for evaluations, individual sessions, and packages are listed on our site or communicated during consultation setup. Charges may be invoiced in AED, EUR, USD, or INR depending on your location.

6.2 Payment Terms: Payment must be made prior to the commencement of scheduled sessions.

6.3 Refund Policy: Session pack fees or individual consultation charges are non-refundable once the session has commenced or completed, except where required under local consumer protection laws.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on www.purpletherapy.co—including therapy toolkits, assessment materials, logos, graphics, guides, videos, and software interfaces—is the intellectual property of PURPLETHERAPY ONLINE PRIVATE LIMITED. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify these materials without express written authorization.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• PURPLETHERAPY ONLINE PRIVATE LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our platform.
• Our maximum liability under any circumstances shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Services in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

9.1 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9.2 Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction (e.g., EU or UAE) grant you rights to dispute resolution in local forums, those rights remain unaffected.
